Summary
This phase 2 trial will test whether adding the experimental drug ivonescimab to standard chemotherapy before surgery can improve outcomes for people with resectable esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. About 49 participants will receive three cycles of the combination, then undergo surgery. The main goal is to see how many patients have no cancer cells left in their removed tissue (pathological complete response).
