First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study will track 300 premature babies (born before 34 weeks and weighing under 1500 grams) to see how often they develop bleeding in the brain. Researchers will look for factors that raise the risk and monitor short-term outcomes like survival, seizures, and need for surgery. The goal is to better understand and eventually prevent this serious complication.
