Massive 5000-Patient study to uncover the Real-World story of blood clot filters

Summary

This study is creating a large registry to collect information on patients who have a device called an IVC filter placed or removed to prevent blood clots. The goal is to track how patients do over time to better understand the long-term safety and effectiveness of these filters, including newer removal techniques. Participants are adults already scheduled for the filter procedure, and researchers will follow their medical records.
