New pill tested for millions with stubborn arthritis

NCT ID NCT07452445

Summary

This study is testing a new oral medication called ivarmacitinib for people with moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who haven't gotten enough relief from common first-line drugs like methotrexate. It aims to see if this pill can better control the disease and reduce symptoms like joint pain and swelling. The trial will also closely monitor the drug's safety in about 100 participants.
