Summary
This study tests a drug called ivabradine to see if it can safely lower heart rate in adults with septic shock, a life-threatening infection that causes very fast heartbeats. Unlike standard drugs, ivabradine lowers heart rate without weakening the heart's pumping or dropping blood pressure. The trial involves 429 participants and will check if the drug helps more people survive at 28 days.
