First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study tested whether ivabradine, a drug used for heart conditions, could prevent migraines triggered by another drug (levcromakalim) in 37 adults with migraine without aura. Participants received both ivabradine and a placebo on separate days to compare results. The goal was to see if ivabradine could reduce the number of migraine attacks caused by the trigger.
