Summary

This study looks at how the amount of nicotine and how fast it enters the body affects a person's desire to smoke and the drug's addictive potential. Researchers will give nicotine through an IV to 70 daily smokers, mimicking the way cigarettes deliver nicotine. The goal is to understand what makes smoking so addictive and how to reduce cravings.
