Summary
This study tested whether a web and text-message program called iSIPsmarter could help adults in rural Appalachia cut back on sugary drinks like soda and sweet tea. Researchers compared it to a basic educational website. The goal was to see if the interactive program was better at reducing sugary drink consumption, improving diet quality, and helping with weight management over 18 months.
