Summary
This study looked at whether giving iron through a vein (IV) works better than iron pills to help the heart pump more strongly after a heart attack. It included 298 adults who had a heart attack and also had low iron levels. The main goal was to see if IV iron improved heart wall motion, a measure of heart function.
