Iron shot before Weight-Loss surgery may stop anemia

Summary
This study tests whether giving an iron infusion before weight-loss surgery can prevent anemia and improve quality of life. About 200 obese adults with low iron will receive either the iron supplement or a placebo. The goal is to see if their hemoglobin levels stay healthier after surgery.
