Iron infusion trial aims to boost exercise in lung disease patients

Summary
This study tests whether giving iron through a vein can improve exercise ability and daily function in people with pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs) who also have low iron levels. Many patients with this condition have iron deficiency that oral supplements can't fix. The trial will compare an iron infusion to a placebo in 306 adults to see if it helps them walk farther and feel better.
