Summary
This study tested whether giving oral iron every other day works as well as daily dosing for treating iron deficiency anemia in children up to 5 years old. Sixty children participated, and researchers measured changes in hemoglobin and ferritin levels. The goal was to find a simpler, equally effective treatment schedule.
