New hope for bowel troubles after rectal cancer surgery

Summary
This study tests whether an intensive follow-up program can improve bowel control and quality of life for people who have had rectal cancer surgery. About 140 adults who have bowel problems after surgery will either get the intensive program or standard care. The program includes regular check-ups, pelvic floor exercises, and help from specialists for bladder or sexual issues.
