Electric pulses aim to zap breast tumors without surgery

Summary

This study is testing a new method called irreversible electroporation (IRE) that uses electrical pulses to kill cancer cells without heat or cold. It is for women with small, early-stage breast cancer who will then have surgery to remove the treated area. The goal is to see if IRE is safe and can completely destroy the tumor before surgery. 24 participants will be enrolled.
