First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study is testing a new way to treat early-stage breast cancer using electric pulses (IRE) instead of heat or cold to destroy tumors. It involves 24 women with small, early-stage breast cancers who will receive the IRE treatment followed by surgery to check if the cancer cells are fully killed. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and can completely destroy the tumor.
