Summary

This study aims to understand the long-term mental health effects of serving in the Iraq War. Researchers are following a group of about 800 military veterans to track changes in stress, mood, and thinking skills over several years. The study involves surveys, phone interviews, and some in-person assessments to see how combat experiences affect veterans' lives long after they return home.
