First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether a treatment made from stem cell particles (iPSC-EVs) can safely help grow new blood vessels in the brain for people with Moyamoya disease. The treatment is applied during a surgery that places a muscle flap on the brain to encourage blood flow. Nine adults aged 18-75 will be enrolled to check for side effects and see if the approach improves circulation.
