NCT ID NCT05980299
Summary
This study tested whether a simple, personalized activity program is practical to use in nursing homes to help residents with dementia. It involved 108 nursing home residents who were experiencing distress, depression, or challenging behaviors. Caregivers were trained to lead residents in two short, preferred activities each week for six months to see if it improved their mood and reduced symptoms.
