Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called ABBV-142 in people with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF), a rare lung disease that causes scarring and breathing problems. About 165 adults will receive either ABBV-142 or a placebo for 52 weeks to see if the drug is safe and can help preserve lung function. The trial is double-blind, meaning neither participants nor doctors know who gets the real drug.
