NCT ID NCT05599139

First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looks at how a 7-day low iodine diet changes the amount of radioactive iodine absorbed by the body in people who have had their thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer. Twenty-five adults will have their iodine uptake measured before and after the diet. The goal is to understand if the diet makes the radioactive iodine treatment more effective.
