Study probes link between tough intubations and Post-Op lung issues
NCT ID NCT02576756
Summary
This study looked back at medical records to see if patients who had a difficult time having a breathing tube placed during surgery were more likely to develop lung problems afterward. Researchers compared 1,000 patients who had a difficult intubation to similar patients who had an easy one. The goal was to understand the risks to help improve patient safety in the future.
