First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tested a chemotherapy drug (paclitaxel) given directly into the abdomen for people with a rare cancer called malignant peritoneal mesothelioma. The 7 participants could not or chose not to have standard surgery. The main goal was to find the safest dose and see if the treatment is feasible. The approach aims to control the disease, not cure it.
