First seen Mar 19, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a single dose of radiation directly to the tumor site during breast-conserving surgery can reduce fatigue compared to the standard 3-6 weeks of whole breast radiation. It includes women aged 50 and older with low-risk, early-stage breast cancer. The main goal is to see if this shorter treatment causes less tiredness and improves quality of life.
