Summary
This study tests two different nasal sprays—dexmedetomidine and ketamine—to see which one better calms children aged 2 to 6 before they have surgery. Sixty healthy kids will receive one of the sprays, and researchers will measure how sleepy and relaxed they become. The goal is to find a safer, easier way to reduce anxiety and help children separate from their parents without distress.
