Zoom therapy could ease student anxiety and depression

Summary

This study tests whether internet-based group cognitive behaviour therapy (GCBT) delivered over Zoom can reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression in international students in Malaysia. 128 participants will be randomly assigned to either the therapy program or a waitlist. The program includes four one-hour sessions covering education, cognitive and behavioral techniques, and relapse prevention, with a booster session and follow-up one month later.
