NCT ID NCT05974774

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests whether men with advanced prostate cancer can safely take breaks from hormone therapy instead of staying on it continuously. The goal is to see if intermittent treatment works just as well for survival while reducing side effects and improving quality of life. About 1,600 men who have already responded well to initial treatment will be randomly assigned to either continuous or intermittent therapy.
