Fasting diet vs. daily diet: which helps you keep weight off?
NCT ID NCT03411356
Summary
This study tested whether intermittent fasting is an effective long-term weight loss strategy compared to traditional daily calorie counting. For one year, 165 adults with obesity followed either a fasting diet (severe restriction 3 days a week) or a daily reduced-calorie diet, with both groups receiving the same behavioral support. Researchers measured weight change and other health markers to see which approach helped people lose more weight and keep it off.
