This small pilot study tested whether intermittent fasting (eating only during an 8-hour window each day) could reduce seizures in 22 adults with epilepsy that doesn't respond to medication. Some participants also took medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), a type of fat. The goal was to see if these approaches could safely lower seizure frequency.
