Summary
This study looked at whether small fluid-filled sacs between the foot bones, called intermetatarsal bursitis, cause pain in people with rheumatoid arthritis. Only 3 patients were enrolled before the study ended early. Researchers used MRI and ultrasound to find these sacs and track pain changes.
