First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tests a new drain system (Interi) against standard drains in 20 women having implant-based breast reconstruction after mastectomy. The goal is to see if the new drain reduces complications, shortens drain time, and improves patient comfort. Participants will have both types of drains placed during surgery for comparison.
