First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether an interactive floor game could help children aged 3 to 6 feel less pain and move more easily after surgery. 84 children were split into two groups: one group walked on a regular floor, and the other walked on an interactive floor that displayed games. The researchers measured pain scores and how long the children were able to move. The goal was to see if distraction through play could improve recovery.
