First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether 90 hours of intensive arm therapy over three weeks can improve arm movement and daily function in people who had a stroke at least six months earlier. 105 participants were randomly assigned to one of two intensive therapy programs or to usual care. The goal was to see if high-dose training leads to meaningful improvements in arm use and to identify who benefits most.
