New patch pump aims to simplify diabetes management
NCT ID NCT07403565
Summary
This study tested a new insulin patch pump system to see if it works as well as a standard insulin pump for controlling blood sugar. 161 adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes were randomly assigned to use either the new patch pump or a standard pump for one week in a hospital setting. The main goal was to see if the new device was just as good at managing blood glucose levels and was safe and easy to use.
