First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at how safe and effective the Inspire device is for people with obstructive sleep apnea who have a higher apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) or a higher body mass index (BMI). About 70 adults who cannot use CPAP machines will be followed for years to track side effects and changes in their sleep apnea severity. The goal is to see if this implanted nerve stimulator can help control the condition in a broader group of patients.
