First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a special warm-up for the muscles you use to breathe in could help natural bodybuilders lift more weight. Twenty-seven male athletes were split into two groups: one did the breathing warm-up, the other did not. Researchers measured their maximum bench press and lung function to see if the warm-up made a difference.
