First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding a simple breathing muscle trainer to regular aerobic exercise can improve lung function, exercise ability, and pain in adults who are obese and have chronic low back pain. About 48 participants will be split into two groups: one using the trainer plus exercise, the other using a sham device plus exercise. The goal is to see if this extra training helps more than exercise alone.
