Summary

This VA study tested two approaches to help Veterans with chronic insomnia get better sleep through brief behavioral therapy. Researchers trained primary care mental health providers to deliver the sleep treatment and tested whether giving them extra support helped more Veterans access care. The study measured whether Veterans who received the treatment experienced reduced insomnia symptoms.
