Summary

This VA study tested two approaches to improve how Veterans with chronic insomnia receive a brief behavioral sleep treatment in primary care clinics. Researchers compared basic provider training against training plus extra support resources to see which method helped more Veterans get care and reduced their insomnia symptoms. The study involved four VA medical centers and analyzed medical records to measure treatment delivery and effectiveness.
