Can talk therapy help veterans sleep?
NCT ID NCT03208049
Summary
This study tested two different talk therapies to help Gulf War veterans with insomnia sleep better. Fifty veterans received either Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on setting a consistent sleep schedule, or Cognitive Therapy, which helps change unhelpful thoughts about sleep. Researchers measured how much the therapies reduced insomnia symptoms and improved quality of life over several months.
