Sleep therapy vs. pill: finding the right fix for your insomnia

NCT ID NCT06281756

Summary

This study aims to find the best treatment for different types of insomnia. Researchers are comparing a behavioral therapy program (CBT-I) with a low-dose medication (trazodone) in 600 adults with chronic insomnia. The goal is to see which treatment works better for people who sleep very little versus those who sleep a normal amount, and if it helps lower associated blood pressure risks.
