Summary

This small pilot study looked at whether adding insect-based protein biscuits to a supervised exercise program could improve heart health in adults aged 60 and older. Thirty participants ate either insect or regular biscuits after exercise for 28 days. The study measured changes in cholesterol, blood pressure, body weight, and other health markers to see if this sustainable protein source might offer benefits.
