This study will give 650 schoolchildren in Madagascar crackers made with cricket and black soldier fly larvae to see if they improve gut health and iron levels. Researchers will measure changes in the gut microbiome, inflammation, and iron status over 14 weeks. The goal is to find a simple, nutritious snack that could help children in areas with limited food options.
