Sniff this pad to stop nausea? new trial tests simple remedy for sick kids
NCT ID NCT05418244
Summary
This study is testing if sniffing a pad soaked in rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) can safely reduce nausea and vomiting in children visiting the emergency room. It will compare the sniffing method against a standard nausea medication (ondansetron) and a placebo (a saline wipe). The goal is to find a fast, simple, and drug-free option to help kids feel better.
