Hospital flu shield: new drug tested to stop outbreaks

Summary

This study tests whether giving antiviral drugs to uninfected hospital roommates of flu patients can prevent them from catching the flu. About 384 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either a placebo, suraxavir marboxil, or oseltamivir. The goal is to see which drug best stops flu transmission within the hospital.
