Finger prick blood test could make inflammation monitoring easier
NCT ID NCT07435285
First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study checks if a simple finger prick (dried blood spot) can measure inflammation markers as well as a standard blood draw from a vein. About 50 adults who are getting a vaccine or have a planned stressor will give both types of samples. The goal is to see if the finger-prick method is reliable enough for future research and routine care.
