Could Mom's bacteria give C-Section babies a healthier start?
NCT ID NCT07212361
Summary
This study tests whether bacteria from a mother works better than store-bought probiotics to help C-section born babies develop healthy gut bacteria. Researchers will compare babies who receive these treatments to untreated C-section babies and vaginally born babies. Participants will give their baby a liquid bacteria product daily for 1-4 weeks and provide stool, urine, and saliva samples.
