Doctors test if diet change beats pills for baby reflux

NCT ID NCT06255886

Summary

This study aims to find out which treatment works better for infants with troublesome acid reflux: a cow-milk-protein-free diet or a common acid-reducing medication called omeprazole. It will involve 96 babies under one year old who have frequent reflux episodes and other symptoms like crying or poor weight gain. Parents will track their baby's symptoms in an app to see which approach provides more relief.
