What babies eat may shape their teen years
NCT ID NCT03108014
Summary
This study followed 191 healthy children from a previous study to see how their early diet affects them as teenagers. Researchers checked back when the children turned 14 to compare growth, development, and body composition between those who were fed breast milk, milk-based formula, or soy-based formula as infants. The goal is to understand if infant feeding choices have long-term effects on health and development.
