Scientists watch babies chew to design better cereals
NCT ID NCT07318506
Summary
This study aims to understand how adding different textures to infant cereals affects how babies and toddlers chew their food. Researchers will observe 153 healthy children aged 6-24 months while they eat cereals with various textures. The goal is to learn how chewing patterns develop and which textures might best support oral motor skill development at different ages.
