NCT ID NCT07338435
First seen Jan 16, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study compares two ways of doing peritoneal dialysis—standard (full dose) versus incremental (lower dose tailored to the patient's remaining kidney function)—in 100 adults starting dialysis. The goal is to see which approach better preserves residual kidney function and reduces oxidative stress and inflammation over 12 months. Participants are from two hospitals in Mexico and must have some remaining kidney function at the start.
