First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks back at 500 patients who had extensive abdominal surgery for advanced cancers, sometimes with heated chemotherapy. The goal is to find out how often incisional hernias develop and what factors make them more likely. By identifying these risks, doctors hope to improve surgical planning and follow-up care.
